Achieving a smooth, fluid-moving image is the bane of any amateur videomaker. Over the years we've seen some impressive examples of home-made steadicams; intricate counterbalances connected to plastic and wood. Even the great Stanley Kubrick used a wheelchair to shoot the long continuous tracking shots in The Shining, but this takes the cake.
