Meet the monsters: two 110-inch Ultra HD TVs at CES
Samsung continues its bizarre obsession with Sydney.

Just as we predicted, Ultra HD is putting in a strong showing at CES 2013, with two manufacturers busting out some massive screens.
And again, with a Samsung employee for a little size perspective.

Samsung and TCL were both showing off their 110-inch TVs at day one of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Samsung's TV has the same design as the Gallery Display 85-inch panel, while TCL has actually got its TV featured in the next Iron Man film, apparently as Tony Stark's choice of viewing.
Both are definitely hilariously oversized, with a total screen area of 3.335 square metres.

As for the Samsung one, it's panel is actually supplied by a Chinese company, called BOE (who has also unveiled their 110" 4K TV from last year too). So basically, Samsung just bought the panel for their bragging rights, which is pretty embarrassing.
So far, TCL and BOE is the only two company in the world that can produce such size of panels. And the only difference between them is TCL's panel supports 3D and touchscreen, while BOE's doesn't.
