Navigation of the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus Printer is a breeze, with two options: one being the touchscreen that you can slide with your finger, very similar to the iPad slide we have become accustomed to; or the good old press of the navigation buttons. Either option is intuitive and hassle free. The menu is set out in an elegant manner, again catering for friendly use. No tech wizards needed!
I have four devices networking with the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus at the one time: my iPhone, iMac, MacBook Pro and PC. This is where Air Print really shines. No more messy wires connecting to the printer, and, every time I have printed a work document, not once has it failed. Welcome to Air Print. Any business will be over the moon with this feature.
OK, so it's easy to use, and has fantastic options for any office task you may need to throw at it. Printing? There's a double-sided option with the touch of a button to conserve paper. Fax? Even though it is an option I don't use, it is there! I played around with it a bit, and now I will just wait for my first fax, but the great thing is if I do get a fax, it can be sent straight to my email if I am out of the office. Lastly, the Scanner option. I love that you can send the data straight to your email or network folder without the use of a computer. Keep in mind, all these options do need a bit of setting up prior to being able to use all these great features. Use it as an excuse to get to know your new friend the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.
So, with an abundance of features, it surely must be expensive to run? Hmmm, well, no, as a matter of fact; press the Eco button on the option screen, which is the only green option on the touch pad, and you are given options to help you conserve power. Screen brightness, two-sided copy or fax and sleep options for the touch pad can all be adjusted to your workload or to saving power. If the option is selected, the little Eco option turns green, so again, with easy instructions, saving energy has never been easier.
