Top-rated products of July 2012

July is a fairly quiet time of year, but CNET Australia still got hands on with some pretty neat gadgets.

Heading up the list is the hotly anticipated Google Nexus 7, which, Joseph Hanlon says, is a very solid machine for games, reading and other media, and one of the best Android tablets that we've seen to date — in spite of a few shortcomings.

He also checked out the Nokia Lumia 610, a budget smartphone that doesn't skimp on features.

Lexy Savvides found a couple of gems in the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100, a sleek little compact digital camera, and, on the other end of the spectrum, Canon's EOS 650D entry-level DSLR.

The Dell XPS 2710, according to Craig Simms, is the best Windows all-in-one we've ever had the pleasure of using — but can it measure up to a Mac? You decide.

Should include LG's 3D TVs on here. I bought mine in July and it's a product that definitely needs to be on this list.

Does anyone know which Australian carriers are going to take on the Nokia Lumia 610?

You can buy it already through Boost Mobile. I don't think this is an exclusive, but it is the only carrier to have picked up the 610 afaik.
